Micky Page is flying back from his latest trip to Rocklands in South Africa to help re-set in the central zone with our resident route setter Dan Wilson.
We also have a host of new macro features to set on the roped walls which will create some radically new challenges for all. The bouldering zone will also see a complete reset by the end of this month with 5 – 6, completely new circuits and over 70 new boulder problems. 
It promises to be an awesome set for the Autumn! SUMMER NICC’s COMP RESULTS Well done to everyone who entered this Summers NICCS. There were over 70 entries in all categories and the winners received a Berghaus Ignite Hoody worth £130, so well done to: - Jade Pollock (Junior Female)

EVENTS
Our annual “Outside In” Event -sponsored by La Sportiva, Beal & Petzl is not to be missed and will be held on Saturday 8th Oct – This is a very popular all day event with fun comps and a host of prizes. This years master classes & lectures are on offer from the training guru, Neil Gresham and six times British Champion, Natalie Berry. Tickets cost £7.00 for members.
New climbing film coming soon to the Tyneside Cinema - “The Scene” by Chuck Fryberger - The Scene promises to be one of the very best climbing films of 2011 and will have an estimated 200+ live screenings worldwide. This film features top climbers like Chris Sharma, Dave Graham, Nalle Hukkataival, Killian Fischhuber, Steph Davis, Matt Wilder and many more sending some of the hardest sport, trad, and boulder problems around the world. 
The date of the screening is being finalised and will be published on our website and at the centre. COURSES
