Under 18s Climbing
Children from 5 years old may climb at the centre under the supervision of a registered adult climber. Competent young climbers between 14 and 17 years old may climb unsupervised at the centre with parental consent and after passing an assessment.
For children 7 – 14 yrs our kids climbing clubs offer a great way to have fun and to gain climbing skills with an experienced instructor. The Newcastle Climbing Centre has been awarded primary centre status for NICAS and all young climbers will have the opportunity to gain this nationally recognised qualification. Our kids climbing sessions run throughout the year. Please contact the centre for times and prices.
All under 18s must have consent form and junior (14-17) registration form signed by parent/guardian before participating in climbing, see downloads.
